We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our team for the next academic year to teach English to students of a wide range of ages and levels. We are dedicated to the learning of both our students and teaching staff and we offer regular training sessions and on-going support in all areas of teaching. It is a great opportunity for a teacher to develop professionally in a well-established, small, friendly and supportive school situated in Katowice, Poland. The location is ideal for those who wish to travel within Europe as the city has an excellent transport network.
We offer courses of English to adults, teenagers and young learners as well as business clients. The school delivers preparation courses for Cambridge Main Suite and Young Learner exams.
The working week is from Monday to Friday. The regular amount of teaching is 21 contracted hours per week plus 1.5 h standby. In-school group teaching is mostly from 15.30 to 20.30 while 1-2-1s and in-company classes may be timetabled in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. The teaching load will include a mixture of levels and age groups including young learners, teenagers and adults, and the timetable may involve split shifts. However, teachers are not normally required to teach outside a 12-hour band during the day.
Weekly Professional Development sessions and teacher meetings are part of the contract. The successful teacher will receive induction prior to commencing teaching.
