If you are looking for teacher development, then IH Torun is the school to work at. We offer teacher development sessions once a week as well as free basic conversational Polish lessons once a week if required.
You will be teaching up to 25 hrs (25 x 45 mins) of English each week in a fun and friendly school. You will be teaching mainly children (aged 7-12) and teens (aged 13-17) but there may also be some adult classes as well.
We offer a comprehensive teacher development programme, with weekly INSETT sessions led by our Director of Studies and Senior Teacher. Every year, we also host the IH Torun International Teacher Training Day which has some big name speakers in the world of TEFL.
Ideally we will be looking for teachers with at least 1-2 years experience. However, we will also consider applications from enthusiastic, newly qualified teachers.
Torun is a great place to live and work. Certainly a home from home! The school, which was opened in 1993, is recognised for its professionalism and dedication to teaching English. In fact, 2018 will be our 25th anniversary. So expect a lot of fun and celebrations! With a team of just 11 teachers it's a very easy place to fit in and feel comfortable!
