Overview of the role
The ADOS works with the DOS and teaching team to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day functioning of teaching operations, the maintenance and improvement of quality standards and student satisfaction with courses, teaching and other educational services.
The ADOS reports directly to the DOS and works closely with the DOS in managing the day-to-day functioning of teaching operations. While the DOS has responsibility for the overall course management, recruiting and resourcing, short and long-term planning and organisation, the ADOS supports the DOS in course management and teacher support, inspiring staff to raise our standards of teaching, training and learning. The ADOS is also required to stand in for the DOS when she is not available (for example due to illness, being on leave or training on a CELTA course).
