Catania is well worth a 'class'! - Washed by the sea, at the foot of the highest volcano in Europe and for a large part made of lava, Catania represents a unique opportunity to enjoy the authentic taste of Italian culture. It’s not only pasta, pizza and pepperoni. You will be amazed by Sicilian cuisine, with its Mediterranean traditional dishes and its wide range of desserts which will haunt you at every meal. Have a chat under the Elephant in “piazza Duomo” while eating a cannoli and you will soon be familiar with all the typical body language and gestures you’ve seen in the movies - you will live the Dolce Vita as it is! In short, Catania is definitely a mandatory stop in your Italian itinerary.
